Mk1 fabia vrs

Featured Replies

Any help so my tortion calue was out by 7, so got it sorted today at the garage set to 0 car drives fine but after i thrash it it starts making a slight ticking noise  what could this be?

I had a high lift cam last month with new bearings and lifters so cant be a worn cam surely

Stop thrashing it, then it will be quiet.

At 310hp its made to be thrashed aha

Could be a lot of things, I'd be thinking the oils either getting too thin to do it's job properly or theres just not enough oil pressure.

Also 310hp sounds like a lot of fun - got a build thread?

When you changed the cam were the gallery plugs in the rocker shaft still in place? if they are missing you would get low pressure at the top end which would be worse when the engine oil is very hot "after i thrash it"
