Both codes and engine management light for 17704.Ordered temp sensor for 16502 is this connected to other code ?while plugged into vag hardware fans came on when engine was still cool.Any ideas?

Whats the description of both codes?

New four pin green sensor should sort it, betting you got black one on there atm.

I'll check in morning any ideas where it is?Most excellent again.Any ideas about a really bad vibrating rattle coming from bottom of drivers door pillar.Removed all trim and belt and sounds like it's in the floor.

Perhaps i should of kept my 99 primera gt never had any probs in 2years just wasn't quick enough to do itself justice.

Coolant temp sensor it under the lower part of the top engine cover in the top hose area. Right hand side of the cylinder head.

Did you have aircon selected ON?

Thats a very good point i'll try again making sure it's off.I read someone suggesting replacing the whole thermostat as this comes with temp sensor.

What engine do you have Perky? You dont say.

To all the people with these codes i've changed engine coolant temp sensor and all seems fine four days later.Seems to be some good advice on this site.If anyone lives in swansea s.wales beware going to panda motors as they are no longer an official dealership and they told me my throttle body was probably knackered.Thanks to all for the advice on this site.
