About to take delivery of a new Octavia and it doesn't have a spare wheel. Does anyone know if the 17" spider from the mk1 octavia VRS will fit? Tire size is the same! 

I think the bolt pattern is different from the MK1 unfortunately. I'm sure someone will be along to confirm.

As suggested, the bolt pattern on the Octavia 1 (any trim) has a different PCD (5x100 rather than 5x112) to the Octavia 2 and later.

Thanks for the replies, just trying to save money as I have a spider alloy sitting around! I guess I'll have to trawl ebay looking for a spare.
