Evening,

 

I picked up my Octavia today and it's my first Skoda but 4th VAG car. Purchased from Rainworth Skoda near Mansfield.

 

It's a 17 plate 1.4 TSI 150 SEL estate in grey with DSG gearbox. I am simply stunned by how smooth and quiet it is yet plenty fast enough when needed. Lots of extras to get accustomed to but the immediate impact is the LED headlights. Never had anything other than halogen before so the difference is unreal. 

 

Previous car was an 18 plate VW Polo 1.0 TSI 95 SE in silver with DSG gearbox. I bought that 18 months ago which was just before I met SWMBO. Due to house hunting this summer and family considerations, I opted to change for something more practical and I'm very pleased so far.

 

I'm sure you will enjoy...agree LED lights are great ...grey definitely the best colour !

I remember one of my VRS's being parked in that exact same spot when I came to pick it up!

But my OCD would have me wiping the radio screen and using the steering wheel controls...!

I woke up to sunshine but it soon went. On a plus side, the weather in Buxton will soon get better.

LOL - mine was parked in that exact same spot on 17th November 2018
