Hey there, Thanks for the opportunity to say hi. Its been an interesting journey recently. This site has been a resource I have returned to frequently.

I just sold my Fabia 07, 1.4 16v petrol hatch to my girlfriend and she loves it. I had a few problems with the roof rack system that let water enter the cab. by now the drivers door servo has probably gone so a pricy fix. anyway the rest is magic. The thule feet didn't fit under the door arches very well.. I had to use racks..so I bought a Yeti which has roof rails.

Buying the Yeti was a serious option because I love Skoda, the Czechs are great people and the VW is a brilliant car(renamed Skoda).

I have now converted the 120cm bars with 755 thule feet to fit the roof bars, they are about 2mm too tight. 

My plan is to shave a bit off and re-fit.
