phone contacts new karoq

Featured Replies

just got my new Karoq...like most I want to be able to call...receive..see recent number..contacts…...on the screen infront of me and not infotainment screen. My last car was VW and I could do this

Does anyone know if this is possible.....all I see on screen behind the wheel is last calls.

thanks

You don’t say what model you have, but even the basic Bolero unit has all these functions. It’s all covered in the owners manual.

It’s the top of the range karoq... sel with all options and colombus

but...you cannot see phone book as far as I can work out on the screen behind wheel... manual is void of details about this

With my Skoda there are two manuals.

One for the car and one for the infotainment system.

Look in the infotainment manual.

Thanks AG Falco

Se L is not top of the range

Are you aware there are checklists in the infotainment (car, settings) where you can change what is displayed on the mini screen in centre.  Allows you to enable or hide options when scrolling with right thumbwheel.

Remember also the folder buttons will change type of display, and there are some submenu for certain options by pressing (and holding down) the thumbwheel whilst scrolling it.

Not sure why you would want to read a phone directory whilst driving

Would take a book to explain all the options, handily Skoda provides a manual which does this

On my Kodiaq I press the steering wheel button(s) a couple of times and see my “recent” calls list.

Works for me as I keep it tidy with a short list of favourite favourites that I may occasionally want to call while On The Move.

I do not see Phone Book on my dash. Only on centre screen, but I don’t need that while On The Move.

Receiving the odd call is similarly easy using the dash in front of me if I wish to accept a call (or kill it).

It certainly satisfies my minimal needs easily.

all

thanks for replies...

I have since looked at all Skoda’s and despite my vw jetta having this capability.... no Skoda does

bit silly really if same owner

I have fabia mk3 65 plate and im able to do this so you should be able in a newer car

Or just use voice command to call who ever, you shouldnt need to keep looking through an entire contact list whilst driving anyway
