Car was in Yesterday for a new screen, took around 2 1/2 hours and included the Lane assist camera calibration.  Top job, you wouldn't't even know the screen had been replaced, looks Identical to the old one, Dash cam refitted, no glue showing, no scratches Highly recommended   " Auto Windscreens,  Hull "  👍

I had mine done last year by Autoglass, Norwich. Equally good job, except I found that the mirror had fallen off when I collected the car. Mirror was re-fitted and it was all good after that. Lane assist camera means screen has to be replaced at local depot, otherwise I think it could have been done by mobile fitter in van.

Are there any local depots now?
When ours was fitted by a mobile van he said Autoglass were closing them all down to be replaced by mobile fitters.

The Norwich Longwater depot is still there as far as I know. I would expect there to be an increased demand for camera calibration as these systems become more common, though it may become feasible to do it from a van at some time in the future.

There is certainly still one in Birmingham, and I used it about this time last year. At that time the mobile service couldn't do the lane assist recalibration so unless that's changed they would be losing a lot of business getting rid of the depots completely.

You try and find an Autoglass depot that does the work in the link you posted.
The only place you'll find them is somewhere like an out of date link at Yell.com

Fair point re that link but have a look at this:

I don't know if this is a reduced number of depots and they only do recalibration related work now but I used the one listed in Gateshead in 2001!
