I have the car booked in with a VW indy, for a timing belt and water pump.. question is at 109k miles have you any other suggestions.. I think I will ask them to do a gearbox oil change. I am wondering about the other belt is there just 1 aux belt? or is the air con on a separate one? should I get these done?

May as well do aux belt there anyway.

Fuel filter that’s your lot. 

 

Get the brake fluid tested for H20 content, or just get a brake fluid change.

New coolant changed with the water pump.

 

Starts to add up.

It is always good to quote your engine code or mention fuel type and engine capacity. At your mileage, if it is petrol then read the sticky about TSI engine failures.

 

I agree with the comment about brake fluid change. Even after two years you can sometimes tell the difference.
