Hi All,

I have just joined and am wanting info on how to replace the window regulator on my 2012 Superb.  Have got the door card off but unsure about how to proceed.  This topic seems to have been covered previously but I have failed miserably to find any relevant information.  I aim to remove the glass, (2 concentric pins I believe, unscrew the 3 bolts holding the drive, then remove the large steel plate holding the drive to the door panel.  What happens then??? How do the window channels (if any) come out?  

Any help would be very gratefully received.  I plan to do this tomorrow Weds in the cold, so numb fingers and little knowledge are not ideal!!!!

I was about to post, but then noticed you mention its a 2012 superb. This forum is for the mk1 superb, which was produced from 2002-2008. Is yours a MK2 perhaps?

Yes 2012 so a Mk2. And thanks for your reply.
Are the window regulators similar between the 2 Marques?

 

I couldn't say for sure, I've only ever had a Mk1.
