Hi all looking for some expert assistance once again, my 2016 estate 2.0tdi estate before I purchased the car had run over a fox😳 and has done some damage to the Plastic radiator surround (Slam Panel),  the picture below is what I’m after but is from a 2014 model, does anybody know if this part is the same baring in mind the model change?

The Mk3 uses the MQB architecture which I would imagine means a fair few parts that are bolted to the chassis/body aren't carried over from the previous Mk2.

 

It may be worth asking someone with ERWIN access to confirm this, or just paying to browse it for an hour yourself.

Unlikely to be the same, there will probably be a part number moulded into yours somewhere.

The only body part shared between those tho models are wheel centre caps...

Don't suppose anybody might be able to find the part number i'm looking for, I have seen a couple advertised on ebay but just want to see if the part number is correct.
