Used Yeti or New Karoq

Featured Replies

Been a fan of the Yeti ever since I saw the review on Top Gear quite a few years ago. Loved the marmite looks, practicality and it was just 'different'. Sadly the other half hates the look of them so started to take an interest in the Karoq. Seems to be another great invention by Skoda but which would you go for?

Potential of buying a cheapish used Yeti or a new Karoq? Or any other advice on something similar to go for? Just after something practical and well built with a good view of the road and comfortable on long runs.

If you can find a decent Yeti cheap buy it, or tell me and Ill have it.

We've had both. The Yeti is more characterful for sure, and they are a brilliant car that you will undoubtedly love, but the Karoq is, in our view, more practical and better equipped. For the same trim level it has better kit and its a nicer ride. Some of the practicality is from the increased size (particularly in the boot) but it just feels 'better' in our view. We did also go from manual to DSG.
