SkodaConnect app timezone problems

Featured Replies

Hello,

On my new Kodiaq RS the infotainment timezone setting is correct. My phone is also set correctly, timezone wise, but when using the SkodaConnect app the webasto scheduled times are displayed using the GMT timezone not set timezone.

Has anybody encountered this?

Thank you

Very sorry, I can't answer your question, but I'd never heard of Timisoara before so I Googled it. Looks interesting, there's some lovely looking buildings there.

Yes, it is quite a lovely city. I recommend you visit it. You will like it

Sorry can’t answer your question, we can’t spec the Webasto here in the UK.

Skoda Connect was pretty rubbish to start with, and each update seems to make it worse. After the latest update the units on the app default to kilometres no matter how many times you set it to UK miles it still defaults to kilometres.

All I can suggest is you push the iCall button in your car and ask them what’s going on. Good luck on getting an answer.

+1 this^

They updated the app on iOS to 3.2.3 from 18.01.20 and it still doesn’t work (reverts to km)? How do they keep getting it wrong??

I’m don’t know whether to bother renewing in the spring as I use google maps and Waze. Really just like Gracenote for the artwork and occasional track listings on the occasional CDs. Nice to have the alarm notifications too but fortunately haven’t had to use.

We're talking Skoda Connect here, a woefully unreliable, under-invested, poorly maintained App that was deleted off my phone the second the one year pre-paid subscription ended.

I sent an email to Skoda and got back a reply with a ticket number. This means the problem report is logged into their system and they will sort it out.

Remains to be seen how fast 🤔🤔🤔
