2.0 Superb 4x4 SE

Evening all

After a poor experience with a Kia Optima I was in need of a new car.  I had looked at the Superb previously but the thought of 7 year warranty tempted me with the kia.  What a mistake that was!

So after having to hand the car back to the dealer I ended up with a 65 plate Skoda Superb 2.0 TDi 150 SE.  Finally got round to picking the car up tonight.  Here are some pictures from the dealer website.

Plan with the car is to add some tasteful modifications.  I have always modified my cars and despite wanting a bigger vehicle I am sure I can add some extra bits to help with it.  I will possibly look at remaps in the future too.

The only thing I miss compared to the Kia is the Nav and the reverse camera.  I also really miss CD players in modern cars too so god knows if I can add one in or not.

If anybody can suggest any modifications I am all ears.

Thanks

Blaine

First up change those plastic pedal covers for chrome ones! Only a tenner or so and make such a heck of a difference as you clamber into the cabin!

That is something I do intend on doing soon.

I am looking for other options to improve the interior a bit too.

Loving the car up to now though

  • 2 weeks later...

So a little update about the car

Car is back in at the garage where I purchased it from.  The Stop/Start is not working (More than likely the battery) and the DAB goes off when turning the heated rear screen on.  So hoping to get it back one day this week.

Other than that I have fitted a spare Audi Warning triangle to the space in the boot and that is it up to now.   Still got plenty planned for it!

Looking for little modifications to do if anybody has any suggestions

Got the car back from the garage. Start/stop now works but the DAB is still going off when turning on the heated rear screen for some reason though.  Hoping to get it booked back in one day next week

Just dropped the car back in at the dealers today for next week.  Hoping to get it resolved.  It has also got a new issue with the DPF light coming on intermittent.  I hope I don't have as many issues as I have had with the Kia!
