Octy vrs to fabia vrs

Featured Replies

I currently own a octy vrs the other half has a clio ,I am considering only having one car ( I've got a m/cycle to play on ) but SHMBO says the octy's a pain to reverse and after a test drive prefers the fabia , I like my octy but is the fabia as good to drive day in day out ? or would I be making a big mistake interior aside:confused:

Well, we currently have an Octavia vRS and a Fabia vRS and enjoy them both. The

Octavia being an estate is easy to reverse and the wife said the other day that it was easy to drive. We just find the Octavia a more relaxing drive and better for shopping!

I went from Golf GTI to Fab vRS so similar scenario.

Plus points: Smaller car has sharper steering and a generally sharper feel to it. Interior space is almost identical, it's much easier to thread through traffic, narrower and fits in parking spaces much better.c Depreciation arguably much better.

Minus points: Less boot space obviously, slightly less road prescence(sp), slightly more twitchy on a motorway and that's about it. Oh and the trim is a bit daft coloured.

No regrets for me.
