Engine Judder

Featured Replies

I have a 2016 Skoda Octavia 1.6 diesel and I have completed a total of 46000 miles. In December 2019 the manufacture warranty expired so I decided to extend the Skoda Warranty as the mileage is still low. I have maintained the vehicle really well, in fact I have just last month had the vehicle fully serviced including brake pads from dealers. For the past 3 days my Octavia has started to judder on cold starts and after 10 minutes of drive it’s all back to normal, saying this I can’t really press the accelerator hard as it starts to make a cranking noise and then just disappears and it’s all back to normal when warm as if nothing happened. Any suggestions please?. Kind Regards.

Thank you for your feedback. The juddering happened in July last year once and then went away. Should this be a temperamental issue that it keeps coming and going or should it judder all the time on cold starts?
