Those are standard Yeti wheels and are NOT suitable for run flat tyres.

Thanks. Yes they look standard to me but I don't know what non standard ones look like. Hopefully I've done the right thing then.

That looks like the original “origami” wheel that came as std on the l & k ,if they were non std they could look like anything.!

Just a quick question…   did you purchase it from a 'dealer'?

 

If so then I would suggest you take it back to said dealer with the above information and get them to replace the tyres for you, rather than shelling out yourself.

Thanks, I have emailed them and am awaiting their response. They are supposedly a "very reputable" dealer and I'm sure would not want bad publicity 😉

Yes I am, and also new to modern cars. The Freelander we had was 16 yrs old. My late husband was a TR man. He had his beloved vitesse which he used to do Hill Climbs with and also in his spare time bought and restored mainly (but not exclusively) old TRs. I haven't had to do anything but drive them for 30 years. So this is something of a baptism by fire! Having said that, I am enjoying driving the Yeti.
