I'm not 100% sure that the Amundsen can show video from an external source???

 

Plus there's the legal issue of the driver being able to see the screen while driving...

OK, but doesn't change the legal aspect or how bloody stupid it is to have moving images in a position where the driver can see them and be distracted.

I'm not really bothered that its active whilst driving only when stationary.

I had no idea the Batmobile was actually an Octavia under the exterior cladding. 🤔

you will need a rooted device and AA mirror or AA unlock. 

 

im Beta testing a fix for andriod auto to allow addition of any app unrooted

I may have to root my phone and give this a go. 

better to use an old phone and just keep it connected out of site. I have managed to connect wirelessly to android auto using another app .

Those are older version. skip video in motion, anyway you need to watch the road, and install the new AA app,

Starts maps automatically and resumes spotify music. Much better than videos and accidents.

with a rooted phone and android auto installed alongside AA mirror, you can see the AA mirror selection screen. When Android auto appears on your head unit you select it and the phone screen will mirror and adjust landscape on your HU screen. if its properly installed you should have full touch screen access to all the apps on your phone.

i use it if im static only. Yes this is the older version as Knox disables AA mirror on all new versions of Android Auto hence the need for the mirror app.

Anyone have a link to AA Mirror app?
