Wing Mirror Puddle Lights Replacement

Featured Replies

I am looking to replace the wing mirror puddle lights on my 2005 Octavia II (Pre-FL). Is there any information such as pictures or videos that can help me with this?

Thanks.

Put LED's in. Much better light off them.

Ideally that’s what I am going to do. Have you any recommendations?

Thanks.

They're not covered by the CanBus (lights warning system) so any decent Led's with correct fitment will do.

Did mine years ago so cannot give a link.

My puddle light capsule bults were corroded into the holder and the glass broke as I tried to remove them. Had to dig them out with a jewellers screwdriver. In the end replaced the whole unit as the LED inicators had failed anyway.

Wear gloves when removing the bulb to avoid cut fingers should the same happen to you.

The video in this post was useful, thank you. However I cannot seem to find the Puddle Lamp bulb, is there any pictures that show this?

@Skoda2114 a few more details of your car and spec in your sig might help.....
