Is this strange???

Featured Replies

Went to the Dealer today for my chirruping DV and the diagnostic machine came up with

DV

Speed sensor : What is this thing??????????

And something else which I forgot :ignore:

Has anyone else has these things pop up on the diagnostic machine?????? Mr dealer also wants to keep it for two days, this is not a prob as I get a courtesy car and the motor is only my weekend wheels. Anyway just thought it was unusual to keep a car for this long I thought.

Hmmm, when my 4x4 started Churpping they said that the Turbo was shot even though the car still pulled. They've had mine for 7 days so I'd be happy with 2.

Phil

How ?!?

Start of 2nd week for turbo swap. Didn't actually take the old one off until 6 days after I left car with them. Oops, had problems cause not done this before and of course the new one didn't fit. Start of 2nd week now... SKODA absolutely brilliant car, let down BIT TIME by dealer network. I want good service, may have to spend a little more and opt for Audi A3 next time.

There's always here to post your opinions of a particular dealer. The more reviews, the better-informed members will be - and with a bit of luck, the good dealers wil prosper and the bad ones will disappear.

Fair point. Thanks Mike.

well happy the DV was not dead , the dealer said he had never ever had one die!!!!

But diagnostics came up with speed sensor fault! Got it replaced the dealer only had it a few hours it now feels like new fantastic can't wait to go on a long run see if fuel economy has improved as it was in default mode???
