Front & rear propshaft bushes

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I am back with the same ongoing issue concerning the vibration coming from the rear at certain rev ranges mostly in 5th & 6th gear, which disapears when clutch is pressed.

After once again scouring the site for information I noticed one user had success replacing the 'front and rear bushes on the prop shaft' to eliminate what appears to be the same problem I have.

Car is just back from its MOT and after getting another garage to look into the problem, this time the mechanic is pretty sure it's not the rear diff that is causing the vibration.

One garage stated my propshaft looks good, bearings appear ok etc

One garage thinks it could be related to propshaft  😕

Does anyone know names/locations/part numbers to purchase these bushes?

3 different garages with different theories what it could be. I don't have the cash for them to experiment in trying to eliminate the problem.  I am eager to sort it as my DMF needs replaced and I don't want to get that done until I can have the rear vibration succesfully diagnosed.

The noise/feeling from the DMF is different from that at the rear of the car.

Thank you
