Hi everyone!

I am new on this forum, but definitely not new to the Škoda brand.

I come from Slovakia, so Škoda is like the home brand for us (due to our close ties and common history with the Czech Republic). I have Fabia Mk3 and currently am waiting for Scala that I ordered a few weeks back

Choosing Škoda felt natural to me, since when I was a kid, we had Favorit, then my parents bought Fabia, then Octavia and then Yeti - and they are replacing it with Karoq soon

(...and my uncle is in the final stages of decision making & close to replacing his Fabia Mk1 with Kamiq So it runs in the family I guess )

There was a similar thread on the Golf GTI site I used to be on and I found it really interesting to see what other's had been up to. My car is due to be built this week (34) so I am counting down the days until I finally get it! So what have you lot been up to?

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they

Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ? My problem is that while my newest purchase of a 2020 Skoda Kodiak , 150 HP and Front wheel drive, is a delight in every way, my car insurance has gone through the roof, and when I queried it, I was informed that one of then reasons for the increase (more than.€200) is that its a 4x4 AWD. Only on setting 2 it’s not mega bad but it is getting worse gradually I guess it’s a dodgy bearing anyone else had it and if so was it covered by warranty ? And no it doesn’t play any tunes ….

Hi everyone, I’ve got a 2021 Superb S EL. Fantastic car, very comfortable. I’m thinking of ordering a new Superb Sportline. Has anyone driven both these trims and can tell me how to compare for comfort ? I recently tried an Octavia Sportline and it was too firm for me. Every bump was felt in contrast to my Superb. I’m hoping the Superb Sportline will be ok with the DCC in comfort mode but it does have large wheels. I realise I should really get another S EL but the Sportline looks nicer in
