this is the first post of probably many concerning a mk2 weve just bought.

 

on the way home noticed a wind noise from the drivers door as if the window wasn't shut properly or a seal was leaking. the drivers door does look a little worse for wear as if someone has tried to get in it from the top, there is a dent in the top of the metal door window surround and paint scrapes. could the dent be letting in just enough air to play up? or at 2006 is ageing seals a factor.

It was a problem when it was new!

ah so its normal then? just felt draughty.

One of mine had the seals replaced just after I got it.

In saying that, the dent won't be helping at all.
