High Beam Wiring

Hi all, I have a Mk2 Skoda Octavia Scout (2013) and want to fit an alternating headlight flasher for use responding with the ambulance service.

I have bought a headlight flasher module but would be really grateful for any help members can give me re: wiring it in - I am new to vehicle electrics and had read on a post re. a Mk3 Octavia there may be issues with the headlights being CANBUS controlled.

I have attached a wiring diagram for the flasher module and would be really grateful for any advice anyone can offer re: how to wire it in.

Hi everyone, I’m a relatively new member here but I’ve been maintaining my 2004 Skoda Octavia Mk2 (1.9 TDI PD) as a "time capsule" with only 21,000 miles. I have a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel. Last year I was in France approaching one of the free ferries over the river Seine, downstream of Rouen. I took a wrong turn and had to reverse, then go slowly forward to get to the correct lane. At only about 2 or 3 mph the car came to a sudden violent stop accompanied by a bang.
