Extended test drives??

Featured Replies

What are the chances of me getting a fabia vRS for at least a few hours or maybe a whole day (9-5)?? I've already had one test drive but it was only for about 20minutes. I need a good while with one as it'll be my first diesel and a big drop in power....

I'd speak with a dealer on that one, mate. they might let you if they think you are very serious about buying the car!

One way to do it might be to agree prices and leave a deposit on the new car 'subject to a satisfactory test drive' - i.e you get your money back if you don't like the car after the days' test drive.

On the Skoda website there is an option (click on 'test drive' on the webpage) for a 24hr test drive but only applies to Octavia and Superb IIRC.

Good luck!

Farmer's in Leicester just asked me how long i needed it when i went for my test drive, I said 3-4 hours, and they said it doesn't matter as long as you get it back before we shut, i had it for 5 hours and did over 100 miles!

2nd thumbs up for Simpsons

Simpsons also wash the car when they service it and charge much less than most for said service. Can't rate them highly enough
