Rear nearside door removal

Featured Replies

I have a dead-locked rear nearside door with child lock on (so cannot open from inside). Tried knocking it, using on/off on key etc. but think the motor has died.

If I undo door bolts will I be able to open the door to get to the child lock to release it? If so, what size torx will undo them please?

Thanks

When mine did the same, it was a question of taking a cold chisel to the door lock from inside the door covering to allow the door to open and fit another lock / motor assembly.

Not a lot of fun.
