DSG - emergency mode

Featured Replies

So driving in to work this morning at about70 mph on the m6 my car flashes up - DSG in emergency mode - you can continue your journey - or some such message - with a yellow warning triangle on display and the engine warning light. The car really disliked using odd numbered gears - i noticed i pulled off in D2 and whent to D4 at about 28 (but screamed inbetween, when it should have been in 3rd) - also went to 6 but didnt use 3rd/5th or 7th.

I'll let you know how it goes on the trip home - and known problems or fixes?

@yosser65

What DSG is it, a 7 speed Twin Dry Clutch DQ200?   There are those that have had loss of drive. There is a software update.

Even if it behaves on the way home have it reported and checked out at a main dealers.

Take it to your dealers and have it fixed under warranty.  Another Wiganer by the way.

yosser65 How did you get on with it ?
