I thought I’d sign up and show you all my dad’s purchase, a 2009 Octavia 1.4 TSi SE, with the DSG box.

 

It’s done 97k with almost full Skoda history from new. It seems to have been very well looked after - there’s even four matching brand tyres on it as well. Engine and gearbox are spot on.

 

It has optional (?) Cruise fitted, and rear PDC’s.

 

We are both pleased with it. There are a couple of scratches and scrapes on it but a touch up pen will hide that.

 

The only fault we can find is that the mirrors seem to have a mind of their own when being adjusted, the N/S one moves the O/S one at the same time...

 

We would like to upgrade the centre console to one with an armrest and fit a leather steering wheel so I am scouring eBay for parts. I am also looking for a under bonnet mat and a battery bag to complete the car. Other than that, its absolutely brilliant and I hope it’ll give dad trouble-free motoring for many years to come.
