Page 166 of the South West Autotrader. :o

Turns out I was speaking to a rep from there at a recent rolling road day - without realising.... still didn't stop him from getting a couple of facts wrong though. So, its about 1/6 of a page out of autotrader. Not a bad one for a first. Note the promotion for Briskoda.net in the right hand photo... What's my cut, Mr D? :D

And subtle "street sleeper" mods...:rofl:

Still, nice wee feature mate. Good to see the Brisky add there too!

I think the "octavia vRS diesel" and "street sleeper" were the main cockups. :D

Better SWAT than Max Power though, Jason!

(NB w.r.t. cockups; the writer missed an 's' from the word car in the first line of text and also started the following sentence with the word 'and', but I am just being pedantic now! :D)

requiring no less than four members of AP motors staff to it in the boot to keep it down.

Not a particularly good reporter is he?

your peak bhp is at 3.6krpm?

Is that right?

yup - its been brought right down from the redline, and peak torque is now at 2800rpm, brought up from its usual low down. It makes for an interesting drive and a very nice powerband from 2500-3500rpm. ;)

"Copious amounts of unburnt diesel" ......I've ...cough..... seen that.......cough...........I could run my car on what yours chucks away

Hmm worrying lack of proper facts in that post then

Any sign of a smoking ban in that neck of the woods yet :P ;)

PS did you request max torque to come in higher to avoid DMF problems Jason?
