Unfortunately I have a crack in my rear driver side tail light. Is it pretty straight forward to change this? Was thinking of just picking up one at a scrap yard. Thanks.

Yes  , it is very easy (at least on the Combi), 1 cache to remove and then 2 Torx screws. Just pay attention to the wiring harness
