Yamaha MusicCast

Featured Replies

Anyone got any experience?

Part of my housebuild included SONOS in the spec (not from me) I don't like that brand (even before they started acting like gits).

Data cabling guy has suggested Yamaha MusicCast instead. Does most of the SONOS stuff without the reliance on a streaming service or thier own app (can hook up turntables and CD players etc)..

I've no experience of Yamaha kit at all.

Richter Sounds sell it, may be worth giving them a visit or call.

Ive got a Yamaha Rn602 musiccast set up linked with a Musicast 20 in the garage.

it works well. It has the odd connection issue now and again but i think its more down yo my crap wifi than anything else.

its nice to link rooms together. So you can walk around the house with perfectly timed music without having to have one room stupid loud so you can hear it elsewhere.

any questions, ask away.
