Spare key automatically locks doors

Featured Replies

I have only recently needed to use the spare key and find that when it is put into the ignition it automatically locks the doors.  The 'default' key does not do this. Why is this?

Do you mean it auto locks at 15mph?

It looks like different users/profiles have been set up to each key.

That sounds about right.  I wasn't aware that it was possible to set up different profiles.  Now I understand I'll stop worrying.

Thanks

You can turn off the profiles in the car config menus.

This will give you the same for each key.

How do I do that?

You can only do that if you selected 'Driver Personalisation' as a factory cost option...

If your Octavia doesn't have 'Driver Personalisation' you need to alter the settings to how you require them for each key whilst it is in the ignition, or in the car with the ignition on (KESSY)...
