High mileage TDI MKiii's

I'm looking at getting back into Skoda after having an A4 for a few years. My Octavia Mkii VRS was my favourite car ever!

 

I'm currently looking at Superb Estate Mkiii's. A few of the examples for sale are quite high mileage (70-90k on a TDI engine). Is there anything I should be looking out for or be wary of in potentially buying one of these?

I bought a late 2016 Superb L & K with 85k miles on it yesterday. 

 

Make sure it has full service history and gearbox oil (if DSG) is changed when it should've been.

 

VW engines are pretty bulletproof as long as they've been looked after and should go well into 150k miles easily

Be sure you know what should be done to the Service Schedule / Guidelines.  A Full Main Dealer Service history is a good way to see if things were not done to the Schedule / Guidelines.

Main Dealer Servicing can mean not much does get done unless a owner / driver pays more than Just Interim or Major Service prices.

Hi, I bought my Mk3 estate tdi 150 manual in Sept. Ex VWFS car registered in June 2016 with 103k on it.

 

If you are looking at anything over 3 years old check any advisories on MOT such as rear brake discs (scoring) and rear shocks (weeping).

 

Absolutely love mine and plan to keep it for at least 5 years.

 

Good luck in finding one there are some nice specced cars out there
