Capless lamp holders ( as in those used for front) sidelights)

Capless Wedge Bulb Holder Socket

Anyone know the type number of these as I notice a few different types on e bay ,usually marked as  T ***W5W( PROBABLY WATTAGE)  501 505 507 CAPLESS BULBHOLDER SOFT FIT . I picked up a few large high output LED  and I'm thinking of converting the fronts to use LED , but it'll mean modifying the holder to take a dropper resistor.

TBH- I was more interested in finding if anyone had translated the type numbers into an equivalent to those fitted to get ones that fit the holder. The site chart fails to mention Skoda.

This is what I have had in my front sidelights (straight replacement for normal bulbs) for a few years now with no issues, I would not waste my time with cheap ebay led bulbs as they don't last:

The LED I have are not cheap e bay ones. But to get best life I intend to run them at as low a current as possible ,from a regulated source. This is one reason I'm looking at replacement holders. Another reason is that I'll have to modify the holder to provide for a voltage regulator circuit and a voltage dropper.

i didn't intend to go deeper, but here goes.

I've got in my stock box a  batch of 6.2v .5w zener diodes and a good range of 1/4 W resistors and I have the expertise to design a circuit to drop the car voltage ( 12v nominal to 14v on full charge ) to 6.2v and then drop the 6.2v stabilised to the 2.58 v of the LED to keep it powered at nominal voltage and at minimal current. But I'll also engineer in a method of reverting back to the glass capless bulbs if needs be.
