Global door unlocking

Featured Replies

Just picked up my 2015 1.6 SE TDI SR Octavia, tried going through the system to change door unlocking options and it only asks for a reset with no change....any ideas as to how I can get all doors to open at once?

Press twice on the unlock button on the key.

I know that, I meant with one click, most cars you can change the programming

Not in the infotainment system AFAIK. The two press is a standard VAG way of doing things from what I’ve seen. Maybe you can code it in if you have a VCDS or OBDII diagnostic tool .

I made the change on my 2017 without having to use anything other than the Amundsen infotainment screen. Pretty sure it was in Car Settings and then something like Lock/Unlock.

As above, on my 2016. 👍

And on my 2014

Found the setting today..... it wasn't there earlier in the week

All modern Skoda models allow for the 'open all doors' with a single press of the unlock button on the keyfob.

The amount of people pressing the unlock button twice unnecessarily during their ownership 🤣
