very poor mis information. the yellow percentage does not mean it is nearly dead at all, its just close to doing a regen which will drop the percentage to around 20%. perfectly normal.

So rather than simply pointing out my error, why don't you also help to direct us to the right number?

Another 30 seconds research suggests that the number to focus on is the 'Oil Ash (g)', this is sometimes displayed as a percentage (which wrongly lead me to call out the 89%) or the weight of ash left in the DPF.

In my example it is at 14.6g. It appears the amount of ash a DPF can hold before its full can vary by engine.

It's a shame that all the MkII 1.4 TSI's are the lowly 'S' models, so no chance of leather, let alone cream leather. Petrol was still inferior to diesel back when they were being ordered I guess.

Yup the MKII 1.4tsi is only available as the poverty S model thought the facelift still had a few bits and bobs (Bluetooth, Cruise, steering wheel controls etc) but the interior is planet black. Seems to drive well considering it's size - infact when I test drove the Superb back in 2015 I found a used 1.6 diesel to be lacking and presumed the 1.4 would be rubbish, however when tried it was surprisingly nippy. Because no one wanted a large used petrol back then I got an amazing deal.

As above I'd suggest a higher model  MKIII with the excellent 1.4ACT engine.
