Had a new full set of Uniroyal rainsport 5 fitted over the weekend, got to say first impressions are good so far.

Much better feel than the rainsport 3 which were fitted before.

 

How do they feel different?  Im running rainsport 3's all round.

I'm interested to know too, I'm looking to get some new boots after all this covid stuff is over as the tyres on our octavia are bloody awful. 

Evening all, I always found the RS3s a little skittish in the dry but pretty good during the wetter days of which there are many. The RS5s feel very good so far in the dry and felt planted early this morning on a damp drive to work, now this could be a bit of a placebo because new tyres are naturally more grippy and only time and more driving will tell, for now though 👍

I'd very much agree with this. I have had a few 'spirited' times I've pulled away from the lights in varying degrees of dry to damp and absolutely no issues whatsoever.
