RVC low problem

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! Hope that corona virus thing finds you well.

So here is my problem. Octavia VRS 2015, I have installed rcv low at the trunk handle, connected to the blue connector pin 6-12, the power supply was from the connector at the rear reverse light and ground. All went well but when i enabled byte 19 bit 4 i get the attached error. i have no image at my radio.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why not use the wiper plug? Does your screen have the Voice and BT buttons?

Hello Sasha again. I do not have screen wiper.... bt i have. voice i think not

If you don’t have the Voice button then RVC low cannot be activated.

Please take a picture of the radio screen and upload a whole adaptation map of the 5F module and I’ll take a look :)

Thank you Sasha! First thing in the morning.

Unfortunately RVC is not compatible with this radio. See you have a TP button, needs the Voice button here to be compatible. This version of the MIB1 Bolero isn’t compatible. Another, higher spec MIB will be needed to complete the install.

if i disconnect unit from glove box to put adapter unit enter in component protection mode?

No it won't, CP mode will only happen when the VIN of the vehicle doesn't match the VIN stored in the infotainment unit in the glove box.

Thank you very much😃
