hi guys,

 

i have bought a 12v oil extractor but the hose it came with it is bit too tight, could anyone tell me what the dipstick valve is sized at please so i will know which size hose to get.

My vacuum pump uses 6mm and does the job.

thank oyu, will have to see if i can somehow find a thinner tube.

would i be able get some of those lawnmower fuel tubing?

As the oil is normally extracted whilst it is fairly hot I would get something more rigid and less liable to become floppy.

Not really. I bought the Pela 6000 a few years ago and the pipe fits down the dipstick tube on my Octavia easily.

The dipstick tube has a diameter of only 5.0mm on this Fabia...
