Greetings all, 

 

Help please, I'm trying to set out what I have on the car before deciding what to upgrade.

 

I have a display that shows a little red icon when a door is open, the instruments show part number  5L0 920 900 E

 

I've searched google to no avail, is this a maxidot display or not?

 

I've seen carista posts saying 'enable maxidot' - is this the correct display that just needs activating with VCDS?

If it shows a little red icon, it's not a maxidot.

 

You'd need to replace the instrument cluster and have the immobiliser/odometer corrected after fitting.

Thanks, I've uprated clusters with other VAG cars but it's frustrating that there isn't as much Skoda knowledge out there. 

 

Good to have a final word on the subject, I've been told on other sites that because I can set speed alerts, and the gear indicator is present it's definitely a maxidot ...
