I have a Skoda Octavia MK2 1.8 elegance 2009, I'm looking on GSF for brake disks and there's about 4 different options, there's 260mm, 272mm or 255mm for the rears, then 288mm or 280mm for the front and a few options for pads too, I'd like to be able to save a few hundred quid and do it myself but trying to figure this out is hard enough.

I want to avoid taking off the disks themselves but if that's my only option I can do.

Phone GSF on Tuesday, they'll probably be able to tell you what you need better than the website can.

If youre happy to provide me with your 'reg, I can look up what should be fitted to your car and narrow down your search.

 

I had similar when ordering front discs and pads for my Scout, but I only had choice of 280mm or 288.
