Change the appearance of the car in infotainment

Featured Replies

Hey guys, recently I swapped bumpers on my octy for those from RS and also I did couple more appearance & performance mods, so I'm just curious if it's possible to change appearance of the car in infotainment from standard estate to vRS estate. Thank you in advance.

P.s. I have OBDeleven Pro

Yes you can.

5F, bytes 0-2:
Byte 0: Brand, 03 = Skoda

Byte 1: Class & Generation, 73 = Octavia  (84 = Superb)

Byte 2: Model & Derivate: 0x = Basic, 4x = Scout, 5x = vRS

and the last bit: 1 = Limousine (Hatchback), 2 = Combi (Estate)

For the start screen, see Byte 18

By default the Value is 00

Change the value to:

00 - Skoda Default

01 - vRS

02 - Scout

03 - Laurin and Klement

04 - Greenline
