hi guys

 

this is my kitchen tap:

 

 

thought i might just wash the car outside before claying it.

 

but on my old house there was an outside tap so it was straight forward but in this house, there isnt any. also i have thought about the washing machine but its very awkward to move that  in and out so the other option is the kitchen tap.

 

could anyone help me with a connector that would fit my tap please?

Have you checked to see whether your pressure washer will work by drawing water from a bucket?

You can get one of those rubber tap connectors from Hozelock which are good but it depends on the tap as to how successful it will be.

 

Is the feed to the washer or dishwasher under the sink? if so, a connector should screw straight on to one of those valves as I believe they are 1/2" just like an outside tap would be

Don't try and use a washing machine/dishwasher self cutting tap type feed as the hole is usually too small for decent flow and the washer will pulse on and off as it starves itself.

i dont really want to draw water from the bucket, much rather have it connected to the tap.

 

the tap for the washingmachine is right behind teh machine which is very heavy to move so i cant get to it.

 

 

What about under the sink ? straight through the wall to install outside tap ?

i have asked landlord if i can get a smart metre installed and he didnt even think about it, he just said no straight away so i really dont think he will let me install a tap outside. good thought though.

im looking around for a jetwash later today.
