Does anyone know how i can check my gearbox has lsd while i have box off

Also have this clutch meant to be a sache sre can any tell by looking its currently taking 400lbft and its holding up really well never slipped. We can't really tell by looking, clutch plate and diaphragm will have part numbers you can check, you'll have to open the gearbox to examine the LSD.

These parts are eleven years old so their condition is unknown without close examination and measurements.

An old trick is to turn one side of the diff and watch the other - If it spins in the opposite direction its an open diff - if it spins in the same dircetion it is LSD

 

I dont know if thats any good any more but it works if you have the wheels on and the gearbox in neutral.

 

Best way is to open it all up as the lads have said

Iv tried spinning the wheels and they both spin same way, gunna try a friends car see if theirs does the same. Probibly best way to find out but im not gunna mess about opening box
