Hello all,

I'm getting a SKODA Octavia II 2.0 TDI PD 6MT off of my parents replacing a Honda Civic 2.2 diesel 06 plate - loved the Honda, Octavia 2 Im getting looks like a like for like swap under the bonnet.

Living in the north east of the UK. 

Im a complete Skoda noobie, is there anything I should read or good reading for someone new to this forum. 

Not sure its the place to say but known issues are glow plugs need changing, Cruise control sometimes stops working but then dip clutch and it comes back, rev counter stops working but when you switch off and back on its fine. (sorry if I shouldn't mention this here) - any direction greatly appreciated.
