Hello - mk1 fabia estate

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm Simon and have recently bought my first Skoda. Its a MK1 2002 1.9 SDI Classic Fabia Estate.

I bought it as a stop gap back in February after selling my E91 estate while waiting to find a renaultsport clio. Bought it off auto trader for the sum total of £425 with 9 months M.O.T and 155k, its basic and a bit rough with no service history and with lots of things to fix but I quite like it now so if it passes the next M.O.T I might just keep it and see how long it goes for! I've found its a good learning tool to get stuck in and do little bits to and expand my mechanical know how.

Will stick a new build thread on as I have some questions to ask, this site is great for tutorials and guides!

Cheers

Simon

Welcome!

Fabias are nice and simple and great for a lot of DIY jobs. that SDI should run pretty much forever :)
