Driver's seat not working

Featured Replies

For some reason I can't adjust the driver's seat.  None of the buttons works.  Not sure how long it's been like that..  Before I embarrass myself at the dealers because I've switched something off, does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

It's an L&K with heated seats btw

Thanks in advance

There is no way to turn them off manually.

Does the passenger side work OK?

Check the fuse is OK then check the plug is OK under the seat (leave the yellow plug alone as it’s the airbag and if you disconnect it and turn the ignition on you will need VCDS etc to turn the airbag light back off.

If everything else is OK and it’s under warranty then get it into the dealer, if it’s out of warranty then get the car scanned with VCDS.

Thanks Gizmo

Should've said, passenger seat works fine.

Plugs under the seat all seem good.  Got a few months left on the warranty yet and I've just received an email informing me that the warranty's been extended due to covid-19.

I'll ring Barlows and see what they say

Don't want to derail this thread as I have no advice, so will start another. But I'd be interested to hear about the warranty extension. Thanks.

Having read the email again,  if they're unable to complete any work on it then it won't affect my warranty. I'd read it wrong. Apologies for the false news
