Hi guys hopefully someone can help  any idea how to reset this light.  It was due a service but I serviced it my self so want to reset the reminder.  I seen a post about resetting the service now. But this said service and had an inspection message ?

How did you reset the reminder in the first instance?

Have you looked at the post at the very top of this site. 

I reset my "inspection" sign from here. 

 

I believe it can also be done with OBD11 or VCDS.

Thanks looks like it worked tonight.

 

Altho I have 12v battery low. Not really drove the car for 2-3 weeks maybe moved it off the drive once. Hopefully a good drive is needed ?

Probably. The old bat's car battery had gone flat after a few weeks of no starting, where's the battery charger in the garage, which has a garage door with a knackered motor and gearbox on it, so is jammed shut! 🙄

 

New battery charger that can deal with both her car and mine £100. New battery is £110, garage door repair... Gawd knows. A lot more than the two combined. 

 

My car has more or less been silenced after I stuck a diagnostic dongle in the obd port. Still another 2 weeks of pinging telling me that half the bloody systems aren't working each time I start it. I also have reset my maintenance cycle as it kept putting it on the VC display about the oil service, which will be done whilst they undertake all of the reset of the issues on the car.
