Went in car yesterday driving fine went to go back in key wouldn’t turn not even a little just enough steering lock off recently had new gearbox new clutch new clutch pedal I’m a taxi and nearly on 300k Nk10jwx I looked up to remove barrel can’t line up holes with pins do you think I’ll need a new part or maybe something easy I’m at a loose end any help appreciated thanks tony 

sounds like either the barrel or steering locking mechanism has failed.

Managed to start car wd40 in the lock cotton bud to clean it still wouldn’t turn key in hammered the lock turned over still stiff like for now gonna order a barrel and try that thanks for help 

if a new barrel doesn't work it will need a new locking mechanism too as my barrel was fine but the something had jammed inside the steering locking mechanism.
