Suspension assembly differences.

Featured Replies

Had a bit of a bump recently and its bent some of the passenger side suspension, so i'm after getting  a suspension leg assembly from a breakers.

Does anyone know what i want to be looking for compatibility wise? Don't want to end up getting one from a model that wont fit.

Mines a 2009 limited edition estate with the CEGA170.

Cheers.

Here's a parts explosion for a 2009 front-wheel drive Octy 2 which should help get you started.

I can't speak definitively about your individual suspension setup but I believe there are differences between standard and VRS models in the areas of brakes, suspension units and (probably) directly associated parts.

Cheers for the link. As far as i can tell, the main difference is that theres two styles of hub/carrier, and the springs are different for the VRS,

The damper strut too will be different to fit the applicable hub.

If you can have a look you should find a sticker or other identifying mark on the parts you require, this may help confirm correct fitment if the breaker has good record keeping.
