Adding aux input

Featured Replies

Hi guys I wonder if you could help me, I want to add an aux input to my stereo, would this connection work....Connects2 CTVSKX003. My concern is I have a built in 6 cd changer, would it work?

Might help if you mentioned which headunit you have? :)

Its a Bolero head unit, but some say it can connect others say it will only connect if you have an external cd changer so using that connection to fit the aux input and doesnt work if you have the internal 6 disc changer???

Pretty sure you don't need anything as fancy as that connects device for a Bolero. If I remember correctly, there will already be 3 pins on the rear of the headunit for an AUX input.

There are pre-made wires, you just need to choose the correct version for your quadlock as they changed during the Octavia production run:

You would also need the headunit re-coding using VCDS or similar to enable the AUX in. It won't effect the internal CD changer :)
